Scientist Studies How Human Stereotypes Can Make Simulated Characters More Human-Like

National Science Foundation awarded a University of Central Florida Scientist a prestigious Faculty Early Development CAREER award to study ways to inject realistic group dynamics such as stereotypes and biases into online games and simulations. The future goal is to apply the resarch findings to medical training and military simulations in order for the programs to be more life-like.
